@beth_smeeton: A few months ago I learned about something that hit me…hard. That financial trauma is a thing, and even if you’ve dealt with the event, you may not have dealt with the emotional side and impact it likely has on your behaviors today. Without getting into what happened, something from my past was getting in my way without me even realizing it. In that moment I had a decision to make. Keep shrinking, shaming, second-guessing, self-abandoning. Or offer myself compassionate understanding, take note of the powerful lessons learned (aka: what not to do moving forward), and step into possibility again. That decision changed everything. I re-connected with my ambition, Got clear on what actually matters to me, And built a daily practice that holds me accountable to my long-term vision. Now I feel like a consistent queen because I’m moving the needle forward on my dreams with the steady energy of internal alignment. There’s a grounded path beneath my feet that’s rooted, self-led, and focused. Not totally scattered like before when I was too busy beating myself up for past mistakes to actually make progress. Here’s my daily practice in case you want to try it on for yourself: - future self journal check-in - set intentions that match your capacity - treat those intentions like promises - reflect daily to celebrate wins & build trust - tap into internal + external resources as needed If you want to lead yourself from internal alignment so you can feel your best, pour into others from a full cup, and live up to your full potential in your work, relationships, wellness, & life—this space is for you.
