the UK just refused a legal gender change to a man bc he was considering having a child, and recorded one trans man as being legally a mother despite his official gender.. so I think the UK acts like it has that law despite not having it

Because i could hear (though very twisted and morally horrific) how sterelizing some hereditary illnesses would result in less of that illness, but trans people ?

I believe the passage of demanding being sterile from the german equivalent law was deemed unconstitutional and therefore not enforceable in 2011, which is still crazy that it took that long, but FUCKING 2023??? what the hell??
