My library story is that I was hired to paint a mural in the kids’ area at one of our local branches and the BEST part is that I was able to ask for input from 600 library kids for the design AND almost 100 of those kids have their own original drawings included in the mural design itself! The library has brought me a lot of joy this year. 🥰

I’m seriously thinking about going to therapy because between my mother having Parkinson’s and being very stressful to deal with in her old age and what’s going on in our government, I’m at my wits end.

I can take my kids to the library and I know ours a safe space for them to practice being in the world and talking to people and exploring things just like when I was a kid. I also love a library building, I visit as many different ones as I can
