Why is she being filmed and publicly shamed on the internet? There are millions of criminals in the U.S., yet we don't see them blasted all over Tik Tok-especially not for theft like this. It's clear she's being singled out, and it raises serious questions about racial bias. If she weren't Indian, would this even be online? This feels like pure racism disguised as justice. Targeting someone so publicly while others go unnoticed is unfair, unnecessary.

honestly people saying this is racist it isn't, she spent 7 hours in target taking items and taking the tag off, pretending that it's hers and walking out. employees found out and put her In their office and all this time the police are with her is because she doesn't have any way of identifying herself so she's a John doe so that's why and their also trying to figure out what happens. if it was a white girl it would be the same thing.

This is so sad to see over and over again... Yes this woman was very wrong. She committed a crime and justice was served when she was detained and arrested. There is absolutely no excuse for her behavior. And no doubt these cops enjoyed releasing the body cam footage. However, what does it say about us for making this go viral, for delighting in this woman's shame, and for the comments laced with racism? Have we not learned anything from these dark times? Do we not know that in this woman's culture, such shame can have detrimental implications on her family and her children? Have we forgotten that public shaming of this global scale can lead to sucide? Are we that merciless and inhumane? SOmething to consider...

ppl are attacking Islam even tho the woman is Hindu.. this just shows most ppl are just Islamophobic and have no reason for attacking the religion. Ppl are just blaming Muslims for everything.. for example if a Christian commits a crime nobody attacks the religion they dont even talk about it but if its a Muslim then they did what they did because they are Muslim.. my point is we are all human and it doesn't matter what religion u are to commit crimes so stop blaming islam
