@sojournies: Is this the most scenic train ride in the United States? 👀 🚂 ⁣[hosted] ⁣ I took the @alaskarailroad’s Coastal Classic Train to find out and the lakes, glacier views, and wildlife were truly breathtaking 😍⁣ ⁣ Here’s some other things to note when planning:⁣ ⁣ 🚂 This is a 4-hour ride each way from Anchorage to Seward! And with GoldStar service you get panoramic dome windows and a meal included each way ⁣ ⁣ 🏔️ You should get off and explore Seward! Stay overnight to hike Exit Glacier, go dog sledding, and eat and explore the local (sea)food scene ⁣ ⁣ ☀️ The best time to go in the summer is between Memorial Day and Labor Day. I went in June during summer solstice ⁣and I think that’s the perfect week to go! ⁣ 🧥 For clothing pack layers!
