he is correct Bitcoin has no intrinsic value because it’s not backed by any tangible asset, government, or productive use—it's just code with speculative demand. Unlike the US dollar, which is supported by a massive economy, legal tender status, and government stability, Bitcoin’s value hinges on hype and limited supply, not utility or trust in a system. The dollar funds real-world transactions and taxes; Bitcoin’s mostly a gamble, not a currency.

Dimon is as establishment as it gets, of course he hates bitcoin. It’s a direct decentralized competition to dollars and he can’t control it like gold. It’s basically gold for the internet. Now he says he wants to invest in bitcoin.
