as much as i love to blame ticketmaster for things, it’s not homophobia they literally do this to anyone and everyone. refunds also low key sometimes take 2 weeks to a month, if she hears nothing soon id just call the credit card company and say its fraud, cause it is

Probably homophobic but definitely fraudulent. I called to get upgraded tickets and they didn’t tell me all the available sections and when I checked again and found tickets they didn’t tell me about, it was too late to upgrade.

Kinda similar thing happened to me except I lost my tickets the day before then when I tried to get new tickets would say error every time at checkout. Ticketmaster would leave me on hold for hour plus. Told me to request a call back. Never got it. Took 3-5 days for a refund. So in the end I went to another ticket app and spent more money on tix lol,

They are fraudulent in general unfortunately. I had a similar but different situation but it was resolved before the event. I’d advise keep calling and make posts on all socials tagging them.

Tell her to put in a complaint with the better business bureau. Everytime I am going back and fourth with customer service for more than a week with no resolution in sight, I put in a complaint with them, and 24 hours everything is perfectly resolved and an apology email is sent out.

Literally almost the same thing happened to me. They told me they would refund me. Sent confirmation. Bought new tickets then said they dont do refunds. Disputed with me bank & they waited to the day after to respond to my dispute & say the even already passed. such scammers

lol they are very well known for being fraudulent. There was literally a senate judiciary committee that had a hearing on Ticketmaster’s issues & later there was a federal government lawsuit against them that included the DOJ & 40 states that is ongoing.

Someone tried to do the same thing to us through StubHub, they basically didn’t transfer the tickets. But they have a policy that you get whatever seats are available at the price of your original tickets. So we got section 1 seats at the same price as the 3rd section. I can’t believe Ticketmaster doesn’t have the same policy.
