My mom ruled our house with an iron fist. I never saw my dad's military stuff outside of the HALLWAY closet it belonged in. It wasn't even allowed in their bedroom closet. That shit was banished to where she didn't have to deal with it 💀

I told my husband once that if I tripped over his uniforms one more time that I'd put them in the bathtub full of water after he went to sleep so they'd be soaked before he went to work. boots and all. haven't tripped over it since. he keeps them entirely om his side of the bedroom.
