YESSS! All of this!!!! One small change I’d make- instead of buying an investment property, buy a new house to move into & rent out your current as the investment property. You won’t need to put 20% down & you’ll get a better interest rate. You’re ahead of the curve at 26, congrats!!!!

Good stuff. Get that Roth IRA open yesterday and max the 401k at your job if available. Get that investment property ASAP! Cars are garbage! Just get a Corolla, maintain it, and save, save, save.

i wish someone would’ve told me that about cars. i put 8k down on an almost brand new altima because i had no credit & no one to co sign for me, and I wish so badly now i would’ve used that 8k to buy a car outright or put down on a 12-15k car instead of a 22k one. you live and learn i suppose

This is an awesome video. I had to google stuff AS I ran into financial trouble every so often after I turned 18. That’s the only way I know about personal finances, contracts, insurance, taxes, etc. and now I help my friends if I can because you never realize you weren’t taught these things until you’re in it 😅
