Oh it’s horrible yes I’ve had 3 sets of cortisone shots in both hands and they’re still horrible. When I’m done having kids I’ll get the surgery

Yes it’s called “mommy’s thumb” there’s a long word for it. I got a shot in it and I’m dealing with hallowed and discoloration but it did help. I heard it goes back to normal eventually… ugh motherhood

Been dealing with “mommy wrist”. I have a four month old and I can barely put my hair up in a pony tail let alone hold him without pain. I had 1 cortisone shot- did nothing, but have been told it will go away in time.

Yes my pain so bad in both wrists that they gave me a cortisone shot and the pain is completely gone

Oh yes . I had it … it’ll go away . But it’s sooo painful i couldn’t pick up the baby . So i had someone come help me but it’s from picking up baby

Yes!!! Sleep with your hand hanging off the bed and get a wrist brace (lol but it helps)

Yes! It was from picking up my son! It went away eventually. I thought I got stronger with time and it sort of vanished.

OK, this is gonna sound so weird. But I am a mommy to two boys. My husband and I adopted them for birth and I actually had this very specific pain both times with them when they were newborns and I think it’s just like using different muscles like when I was bottle feeding and when we were like changing diapers, it just was like muscles you weren’t used to using. It was so weird. So I know I didn’t have a hormonal postpartum as I didn’t give birth, but thought I would add that it could be muscle use

Yes, so many weird pains, but by the time you make an appointment it’s not as painful anymore… I did have to get a root canal after my first baby, I swear it’s from breastfeeding.
