We were forced to drop to 1 nap because at 13 months, she started refusing her 2nd nap to the point she’d be up for 6-7 hours 🫣 it was a nightmare. My advice is to really try to lengthen her wake windows! That’s the only way it’ll work.

My experience with two kids is that the one nap will be short at first, but should lengthen to 1.5-2-ish hours after they adjust to one! It can take a few weeks to fully adjust unfortunately though. 🥲

That 2-1 nap transition is tough, but worth it! It will take a few weeks to get in a good routine but I recommend lengthening that first wake window as much as possible. My daughter always wanted to fall asleep around 10:30 and if we could get her past that hump and push more to 11:30/12 for nap it really helped! 18 months and she naps a solid 2 hours each day!
