I’ve had anxiety and depression for many years. I struggle everyday and I’ve tried so many things. Hypnotherapy therapy and even tablets. Nothing has worked. I live in pain daily. I Think one of the issues I have around it is not many people understand it. Like you can tell people friends and family what you’re going through how you feel. But cause they’ve never experienced it so they don’t truly get it. I’ve always stood by that more people need educating on this subject.

Some people have this period of ‘being ok’ just before they take their lives. It’s because they’ve reconciled things in their head, knowing their pain will end. So to others it seems they are feeling more positive

It was like that when I attempted. I had a period when I truly felt like I was getting better and started to make plans. And it was genuine, not a case of feeling good because I'd made THE decision. But then as it goes with chronic depression, that didn't last and falling back into depression felt like terrible whiplash and made it obvious to me what my future was going to be like and I didn't want it. So...

The seeming to be happier is because he'd made peace with his decision. That's where I'm at right now ✌️

My grandfather took his life about 7 years ago over regrets on his past and I saw him in hospital 6 months before - he said “don’t think I’ll be around much longer” in what I now realise was a decisive sounding way, and I wish I’d read between the lines better. All our songs are about connecting with people now after that event.

I’ve lost someone very close. I was told it’s a seed what’s planted in there mind. Then one day enough is enough. We all look at ourselves asking could we have done more. Think it’s a natural reaction. Very Very Sad.

You couldn’t have done anything but definitely keep an eye on friends who struggle that seem overly happy very suddenly, give gifts to friends and give money away bc that’s usually a sign that they’ve made a decision :(

The problem is, we all cannot read minds. We can do all that we can to support our loved ones (as we should), but we cannot fully understand what is going on in their mind and as much as we all want to do more, sometimes it’s just something we cannot do. My thoughts and love are with anyone affected by mental health, but please be kind to yourselves and remember it isn’t your fault and you did all that you can do xx

hope is the most cruel weapon when you dont know when to wield it, you dont want your life to be mountains but small waves, depression has a way out, more in bio.

Two friends of mine. They were both let down SO terribly by the mental health services. I'll never forgive the NHS for their neglect.

I lost my cousin last year 💔😒 It was his 2nd attempt.l remember someone saying when someone fails the 1st time they feel like they have failed at that too if that’s where their head is at.So for some that feeling is only temporarily suppressed. 🎓💔
