Some of these comments make me so sad. Pigeons aren’t these unclean birds that harbour diseases. I wish people knew the story behind pigeons and why we don’t see them in the wild wild and only close to human populations. Back around the WW1 & WW2 era they didn’t have phones and the internet to communicate so pigeons were literally domesticated for the pure purpose to send letters to other people. They were bred to be docile to humans and want to be around humans. They lost their ability to be “wild” and find food for themselves, build nests in trees etc. Then when technology advanced humans literally just dumped them onto the streets 😭😭 that’s why they aren’t afraid of humans and why they’re always near us. It makes me so dang sad 😭😭 they literally must’ve been so confused when we just kicked them out to the streets to fend for themselves 😭😭

Ok yes people in the comments are crazy, we’re the ones who have destroyed so many natural habitats for animals so why just throw out a nest ? but also this is not gonna end super well because you will definitely get an invasion of something from a pigeon nest, it’s better to get someone from the city to come move it somewhere else. Trust me, you don’t want weird insects populating your bathroom and beyond…
