I had 22’s and got pulled over least once a week put stocks and hadn’t had a roadside in a year.

Trucks used for work should be left stock

I mean tbh I feel like that kinda common sense bigger tires and wheel ad more weight and make the truck work harder to get down the road

Offset + high weight = problems…..been saying for years but everybody wants to learn the hard expensive way….if your pulling for a living function needs to be priority yeah stocks are ugly but looks don’t pay bills they create them

There’s a reason it comes with 17” 235s anything bigger will cause issues faster. I run 265s on my 14’ and 285s on my 19’, different gear ratios, I’ve replaced hubs 3 times on the 14’ but I do run that one harder. I keep a spare front hub, rear bearings, seals, water pump belt and coolant. I even have studs and an extra front adapter. Always buy parts even when things are going good.

🫣🫣🫣…. Honestly I think a lot of it has to do with it being used and possibly proper maintenance wasn’t kept up with

I used to hot shot and just from experience. Upgrade to performance parts and make sure everything you put on is greasable. I used to drive 2000 miles a week and most roads in the U.S are dog shit.

truck was built with payload values on stock rim and tire size. Cant rely on those numbers when you change the algorithm.
