So OpenAI forgot to put the Microsoft contract through ChatGPT to see if there’s anything that could affect the Windsurf purchase, and just announced it without checking. 🤣

The only reason this AI bubble hasn't burst already is because these tech companies' pockets are infinitely DEEP. Shareholders are not doing enough to challenge these ridiculous valuations without a hint of sustainable profit

It doesn't matter how much money they spend they won't solve energy costs in time.
when the bottleneck reaches critical mass they'll go to war with themselves (and the rest of the world by extension). at this point the money will decide if they will stay or go where it's cheaper and easier to kept AI going. Those who know can already guess where that money will end up.
Jensen said so a few weeks ago. he lobbied for Nvidia chips to enter the market after losing billions. the flood gates are now open. it's open season and feeding time is nigh.

just proves again how bad a company Google has become and how little morals they have. And that's for a company that used to have the term "don't be evil" in their IPO. Oh how far they have strayed from that path.

Didn't the investors get paid as part of the Google deal? The Board would have never allowed this if not (non-competes, etc), no?

I review DEV tools for my company. I get the shade but Devin 2.0 is actually a very good tool now. Comparable and even exceeding Augment, Cursor and Gemini CLI. Its biggest problem is cost. It burns tokens faster than CEO’s add AI to their pitch decks
