The same way you add an app to the dock. You drag it from the folder containing your apps and you drag it to your desktop

Its not complicated. Just drag it out of the applications folder to desktop. On windows you also can’t drag an app from the taskbar to the desktop 🤦♂️

Idk why people say you can’t. If you go into finder & into applications you can drag a app to the desktop, it becomes a copy of that app.

You can’t from the dock, that just removes it from the dock. To add it to you’re desktop move it from the application folder to you’re desktop folder. But why whould you if you can just launch it from launchpad or spotlight😭
