Working hard now so my kids can solely focus on their education. No jobs in high school, moms got money. No job in university, moms got it covered. No bill payments, you’re on my credit already. I will not have children unless I have a solid foundation (hella cash) to ensure they are able to focus on their academics. No slamming doors, no passed out parents, no arguments, no running away. Focus on your school work and your friendships and being young. Mom will take care of the rest. I birthed you. That’s mom’s job.

Some people have the luxury, some don’t. It doesn’t mean we should be hateful to those who have that luxury. Be happy for people who are lucky enough to have supportive families, not bitter if you didn’t have one. Sincerely, someone who was abused but still financially supported. Money doesn’t equal happiness or familial stability.

I had to work full time whilst being at uni , i was shattered and did not get the “ uni experience “ everyone talks about. I now have a daughter myself and best believe i will be paying for EVERYTHING. Car , uni , house deposit.

People getting annoyed that parents are paying for their kids uni rent, in Scotland you actually are financially responsible for your children up to 25 if they are in full time education Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985, I know this isn’t Scotland but really if your parents can afford they should be supporting you through education.
