Think about the 2 story again, I rented a two story and then bought a one story. Currently regretting & now we are working to buy another home. The separation of a two story at least for my family just works so well. It’s nice to get the kids to bed upstairs and then hang out downstairs. Just put up the proper reinforcements for child safety. Our realtor asked us to choose the house with your top 3 things. Wether it be location or other things and stick to that because you most likely won’t get everything. I love my house just really wish it was two story😭

Please do your research on S*A Enders around the area,just to be safe. Look into a gated community they have a security guard in the front where you have to show your ID and then they’ll give you a call to confirm that this person is visiting you. They keep track of every person going in and out. Also, please be careful with the fine print on their HOA guidelines that’s where they really get you.

Look for an HOA usually they have all these thing lol i love it we have a pool, tenis court, club house, playground, and a walking trail !! I never want to leave my neighborhood

No HOA, no corner lot (too much traffic), gutters*** make sure it has gutters or a drainage system that draws the water away from your house. We spent so much money repairing our foundation. Oh a privacy fence, they’re expensive.

A gas stove is a must.. I regret settling for an electric one. It’s no fun cooking during a storm only to have the power go out midmeal.

2 story’s suck! I have 2 ac units which is good but going up and down the stairs all day is a big no😭😭 stairs are only fun when you are a kid lol. I live in a cul de sac and I love it! My kids are outside a lot! Look into Collin county/Nevada,Tx or even Lavon Tx.

I feel like DFW has a lot of them just sucks cause all the quieter ones in like Fate or Terrell have bad traffic at 5. Yes if you have young kids don’t get a 2 story cause it gets exhausting having to quickly go up and down to get something and them always trying to climb up
