“Released from obligation” 😳 I can remember what that felt like but I can’t feel it any more. Not really. It’s he obligation is always there, even if it’s on the back burner for a bit. 🫩

that's why I enjoy cleaning and tidying up my house. it makes me feel like I accomplished something, unlike at work where, whatever you do, it's hard to get completion. nothing gives more joy than having a clean and tidy home.

Love how you break these things down and articulate them so clearly. I feel like I had some awareness on it but hearing you explain it this way is wonderful. Great video 🫶🏻 definitely interested in another on a systematic approach!

When my therapist suggested that actually "doomscrolling" tiktok might be a really calming, settling experience I was denying myself. Made such a difference to let myself enjoy the experience rather than fight it.

This is such an important message!! I wish doctors shared this kind of knowledge with patients rather than just saying - you need to get rid of stress in your life! It always makes me laugh

What are examples of activities that could make you feel more in control? I have a lot of social anxiety, but bugging or micromanaging my friends would be unhelpful ofc. So what are hobbies, or alternate outlets that I could do to feel more in control?

Today I experienced a panic attack for the first time while I was “relaxing” on the couch. I think what caused it is cause I was worried about my health the last 2 days.

Follow and listen to your heart. Yes, the physical heart does have a role to play in the operation of the brain. This is why cognative science is confused about consciousness. it assume the brain is in charge. thats not the full story, its a misread of data.
