Yep. There isn’t a way to be an ethical billionaire. In order to even get there, you have to use slave labor and benefit from unfair taxation. If you magically won $1B you’d need to immediately give most of it away in some fashion.

Bet plenty of ppl would use Batman to defend ‘ethical billionaires’. I’ve actually seen it on Reddit and other social media places. this is crazy... human nature is competitive... if it wasn't money it would be something else that gave us value or power, there's just like... you don't actual care whether or not someone with that amount of money could be 'ethical' because your just trying to make a dig at capitalism because you think it's inherently unethical... which makes zero sense because this 'highest quality of life' you strive for everyone to have is highest in capitalist countries.. humans are inherently 'unethical' the system is but only the system... there is a billonare out there no matter how 'unethical' you think you are, has done more 'good' for this world, at least in your eyes, than you will ever in your life... even if they are 'unethical'
