I think compassion is just about always the right way to go, but as another autistic person who doesn't always express herself perfectly, autism is not an excuse to use homophobic slurs, or double and triple down on misogynistic and transphobic attacks against other creators.

its not your fault and there is nothing you did we need to forgive. I have made the same mistake defending people who didnt deserve it. it hurt to have trust betrayed but these are the actions of abusers being abusive and manipulating others to take the fall for them. dont beat yourself up for pain they inflicted using your compassion
