Ok but to be fair, my endo appt first appointment was November 18, and I asked if anything sooner, and the lady next to her literally had a cancellation for next day 😅

let's just maybe be nice and understand that trying to get appointments from a patient perspective can be extremely frustrating. they just want answers but are often told they need to wait months. let's have some compassion

my appointment was marked "urgent" but the doc missed it because she was ill. I got the "the earliest is 3 months even with the urgent mark" from the receptionist. I took it and my doctor called me an hour later and said "I don't know why she said that, I have availability to see you next week". At the gastroenterologist btw, I got crohns.

i’m so sorry bc the lady scheduling my son’s tympanostomy said their earliest was 8/26 & when i asked for sooner, there was a cancellation for 7/17 so unfortunately i will always be that person 😵💫

I can tell by these comments who has worked in a medical office and who hasn’t, especially for those that think this a serious post. I would never say, let alone actually think this ab a patient who needs to be seen. It’s a trending audio that I made a post to. No need to be offended❤️

I’ve done this, but in my defense - they have started looking at individual dates and I’ve gotten sooner because of it lol. Idk how, but it happens. 🤣

Honestly this was me when I needed to go in for to get my hives looked at. It was an emergency referral from my doctor and urgent care but the allergy place was like “yeah about 8 weeks out. Sorry” I was shocked that emergency meant nothing 😭😭😭
