the radiant/spren bond is a really unique relationship but I’ve ALWAYS seen it as platonic. The closest thing I can compare it to, is when your best friend is called aunt/uncle by your kids.

yea, no Syladin for me - it would take so much work to make a romantic relationship between them unproblematic (Kal literally. has the power to kill her at any time, and she is his access to his Radiant powers), and even if Sanderson changes their bond or somehow fixes THAT issue, its still rly WEIRD that Kal has basically known her since she was a child. 😑
