I followed him, I didn’t see that coming…now I don’t trust any of you and blocked 98% of the political creators and everyone else who shows up on my fyp that talks about it. Those that I didn’t block I either haven’t gotten to yet or I think I see decency in (I think!…repeating that because my judgement was off on Path so I could be very wrong), but I might block regardless. The only two I feel confident on keeping is Cole because he was never involved in any of the drama, and Elle because I so closely identify with her views as I’m also newly into the political sphere…tho, I’m completely over politics at the moment and just plain upset over it

What he did is disgusting and can not be condoned, what some on this app are doing by trying to tie others to him despite it being obvious no one knew is also disgusting. I’ve decided on a block first policy whenever I see someone that is trying yo boost their profile by putting in their two cents worth.

It’s a shame that we have to say that this is not acceptable behaviour before we go on to make the statement that we wanna make. But this is unacceptable behavior. Now that that’s out of the way because if I don’t do it, then I get accused of condoning it. The creator that came out with this information throughout the video seems to think that All the viewers that were in support of this man we’re doing it despite the fact that he had done these things. No one knew, we were duped as well don’t blame us.

It’s not hard but Let me help you. You should be saying: “I’m sorry I defended a monster that erased people’s gender identities and even though women had been telling me and my circle for literal months about his predatory behavior and harassment we chose to ignore them. I cannot undo the harm that I was party to. But I can step away and reflect, deconstruct and come out of this a better, more knowledgeable person equipped to help marginalized people.

ok I understand that your concern might be to ensure that ppl know where you stand on this specific situation. I feel tho you need to understand WHY there are marginalized women/2spirit/fem presenting who feel absolutely betrayed by you and your silence as you reposted and boosted content that not only erased their identity but put them directly in harms way. maybe that's something that should have also been addressed here. Just my 2 cents.

I’ve seen so many people using this new info to justify their previous behaviour, and now saying that those who tried to help him must have known and are just as guilty. I don’t like that take, I’ll blame the guilty party if it’s true, but I’m not going to paint everyone else with the same brush to try and gain some clout.
