my grandma around the same age was the same way-more accepting of my transness than queerness 😂😭 but one of the last convos before the dementia rlly got to her, i told her abt getting top surgery and she was honestly pretty okay with it and asked p reasonable respectful questions tbh

also my grandpa is from mexico and i’ve never specifically told him im trans but ive been on testosterone for almost two years now and he calls me “mijo” instead of mija. And i bring my gf around a lot and he loves her. I think he’d be more than accepting cus he’s always been full of love. It’s just a bit different cus spanish isn’t my first language
