Man of Steel made an entire generation of kids (myself included) not care about Superman because he wasn’t presented as interesting. The whole reason Superman is just now finally returning to the big screen in a solo film is partially because so many people have a boring view on him as a character, that’s thanks in no part to Snyder.

It wasn't produced by Chris Nolan, it was Zack Snyder.. Nolan partially helped with the writings of the movie.

One of the rare bad takes by Sean. MOS is different and the villain is outstanding. I really enjoyed the new Superman but MOS is an excellent movie with an amazing score. It’s hard to do something different with Superman and they achieved it with MOS.

Man of steel made you angry. People tell me I'm crazy when I say that Zack Snyder haters are just as bad as the Snyder Bros. I love Man of steel and I really like this new Superman movie, I was dreading these reviews was just going to be an excuse to shit on Man of steel and I was right

man of steel was the first live action depiction of superman i’d ever seen, and so i really thought superman was just a really boring character actually up until the Superman and Lois show with Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsy Tulloch

Man of Steel is Zack Snyder's point of view. Snyder is a declared admirer of Ayn Rand. And who is Ayn Rand?Rand defended rational egoism, individualism, and capitalism (laissez-faire), arguing that it is the only economic system that allows human beings to live as human beings. Consequently, she absolutely rejected altruism. That's why Zack Snyder's Superman isn't inspiring, is just strong. Rand's values and principles are closer to Lex Luthor than Superman. Just look for Ayn Rand talking about altruism and sacrificing oneself for others, actions that curiously are the core of Superman

Has some fun moments and visuals. Cavill is obviously great but never gets to shine as Clark really (across his three main appearances). I can’t forgive the Pa Kent stuff.
