OP has since recanted his stance on OBM. I wanna discuss Offense here. I feel like people discount all the aspects that make up the “offense” stat line. Barou has an impressive 95 in offense. He’s a great shooter, good dribbler, is strong and unpredictable on the field. But his antithesis Isagi has a 94. Despite not having Barou’s shooting ability, dribbling ability, and overall worse physical ability, Isagi’s offense is relative. Why? Because his link up ability. Because his off ball, creativity, and reading abilities. Now look at Shidou who blends these two builds. He’s got superior physicals to both (only falling behind Barou in strength), he’s got arguably the best OBM in BL, the only player with better positioning than him is Isagi (maybe Rin), his spatial awareness lets him play on the level of MV users, he has on of the most insane shooting abilities in the series with his PA perfection (and is easily the most versatile when it comes to types of shots). Because of this, logically Shidou’s offense should be greater than Barou’s.
