Oncology nurse here, the squeeze is way better now than it used to be and you should get them yearly after 40. Also I would much rather catch it early by doing it yearly!!

don't get them!! if you do, get an ultrasound instead. mammos are the reason why there is such an increase in cases. its the mashing of the tissue and then radiating it. don't do it bunny!

mammogram is very important.. sadly mine was found thru ultra sound cause mammogram did not pick it up .

There are other alternatives to mammograms. I had a thermography screaming.

my gyne who was my boss at the time started me on them yearly @ 36. No family history but im on a medicine thats know to cause cancer and he had way 2 many young women diagnosed that year.

Not me watching this after I got my 1st mammo ever today, it wasn’t bad at all and took maybe 10 minutes 🩷 I get it tho I was nervous but my tech was also so good!

Mammograms are super important and has improved! With 3D imaging, it is shorter and less compression.
