I’m from New Orleans and I don’t have the accent unless you get me fired up. When I was young I wanted to be a TV news reporter so I practiced speaking without an accent 🤣 If my south Floridian husband hears my accent he knows he better watch out because something’s going down!

I learned to talk in Texas and spent most of my childhood in Michigan. My accent is all over the place, but when I’m irritated that midwestern accent gets strong. When I’m downright irate or tired, it’s painfully southern.

Ky country girl here. Spent years loosing my accent for the same reason. No one’s going to ask me if I wear shoes and am married to my cousin because of an accent.
