My daughters friends used to call me the Hotty and my husband the charity case LOL, poor dude. He is a fantastic guy though, and when he was younger yeah, he was fit and hot. If he looked as he does now back then would we have dated?….possibly not because first impressions are often physical.

Not to mention, so much of attractiveness (at least for me) comes from self respect. If someone takes care of their health and body of course they will seem more attractive.

It’s not a crime to like someone because they’re attractive…what do you think animals do? Especially birds, they show off their attractiveness to females as a means to get them. It’s an instinct, but unfortunately that doesn’t excuse how some people are treated better than others just because they’re attractive. Me personally I go for looks AND personality. I wouldn’t date someone who was mean just because they’re hot and I also wouldn’t date someone unsightly just because they’re “nice.” It’s really not hard to boost your appearance, get a hair cut or do eyebrows, anything. It’s not peoples fault that they can only feel attraction based on physical preferences the only thing thats messed up is people treatinng others meanly based on it and also people expecting to get cracked just because they’re “nice” when they’re not nice they’re just doing the bare minimum

It’s like Alicia McCarvell.. people try to bring down her relationship with her husband because they see what she looks like but forget she used to be a body builder… in either aspects of her life her husband loves her for who she is not what she looks like. She is still a cute person has a hilarious personality and I can tell by his reactions she’s fun to be around
