Autism has become a “hip, cool” trend/fad. People want to be unique so bad but also want an excuse for being the way they are. It’s sad. I can’t wait for this “trend” to be over. It’s not fair.

not all Autism comes with co-morbidities. My son is low support needs autism, but he is only autistic just like Darius. People are forgetting autism is a disability not a superpower or quirky personality. Doesn't make our sons any less.

I’m autistic but I know theres a spectrum. I’m a high functioning autistic. Diagnosed when I was 9/10 years old. People who have autism and are SHAMING Darius because of his, are the problem.

Autism doesn’t excuse people from knowing right from wrong but it’s not his fault his parents don’t know him well enough to know what works for him and what doesn’t there’s always a way to teach people with autism you just haven’t found the right methods for him but if he doesn’t learn eventually and you keep useing autism as an excuse your only setting him up for failure do you think an officer is going to care when someone explains he has autism for doing something inappropriate do you think people are going to ask hey does he have autism before they react to something he did your putting him and others at risk if you plan on ever let him out the house alone

I think ppl forget autism is a SPECTRUM. My son is autistic and does most things independently. My autistic cousin (RIP❤️) was non-verbal and incontinent as an adult. Autism presents itself in many different ways

Is it not correct to say Darius is autistic with a learning disability? I mean it's aa spectrum, and the learning disability would be symptom of the autism. I guess it's redundant. 🤔 Yeah i understand the frustration. 😅
