wait if you do this again pls pls try doing it backwards, they say when you walk backwards it’s great for knee pain so I always wondered if going up the stairs and down backwards would improve your knees and have faster results.(if you do try be very cautious and intentional with every step)

I did this and the next day walking down the stairs was sooo painful!!! But walking up the stairs was so easy tht I wouldn’t even get out of breath. NEVER AGAIN 😭

It’s not different muscles it’s a different king of contraction , there’s eccentric and concentric concentric against gravity and eccentric is controlled decent with gravity. Eccentric being more effort
