Where did all these cops come from? Typically, you’re lucky if you see a cop downtown. Let alone several that will arrest a guy for having no lights on a bike. Was there some sort of protest going on while there were extra cops downtown, why they were extra touchy about this guy with no bike lights. The whole thing is confusing to me seems like there’s more to the story than what we’re saying way too many cops.

He didn't break the law: According to Ohio law, it is illegal to operate a bicycle on public roads after sunset or when visibility is less than 1,000 feet without proper reflectors and lights.

naw, lights are required at NIGHT! if you arrested a driver and impounded their car for not running the lights during the day, it would be considered an unlawful arrest. same thing for a bicycle. news flash reflectors and lights do nothing during the day!

liking this not because im on you side, but because I find it comical "innocent people" get mad when police try to clean the streets up. 😂 ive never once in 36 years been accidentally accused of selling drugs while down town
