Just download your DLC not from the updater!! Download it as separate files (anadius has links) and put in on your sims folder like you would put mods (but put it in a folder where you have your game - EA/steam) and that’s it. In this case you would never need an updater…only DLC unblocker and it works perfectly fine

I actually managed to get enchanted by nature from the fitgirl anadius updater, with the patch for dragging dishes and I think pregnancy works ok too
