I had a dude come up to me after I clocked out and had my vest off and asked me, very rudely, where something was. I told him I'm not allowed to work off the clock so he'd have to ask someone else. good thing my bf was right next to me cause the dude got in my face and was like "wow you could be a nice human but of course youre a *****." so I responded with "good thing I'm off the clock then cause I would refuse you service anyway with that attitude as I'm a cashier" and my bf had to step between us cause dude looked like he was gonna hit me

I'm so glad that every retail store I've worked in, had both snack and soda machines in the break room. Even so, I tried to remember to bring my own, so I didn't have to waste my break, by going through checkout.

Honestly when I worked in a grocery store bakery, I was the only person every night and I was never able to take a 15 minute break to myself 😭 there were times I’d go in the walk in or the back room of my department and just cry for 5 minutes, wipe away the tears, and get back to it 😭😭😭

your Walmart must have been different from the one i worked at. we took our vests off for break and we're not required to help customers during that time. management was actually really strict about that.
