@beingmrsbrauner: Unpopular opinion ⬇️ You're allowed to work during summer.... if you WANT to. ♥️ When I was teaching, I did enjoy working in the summer, to a point. I liked doing all of the "extra" stuff that was an outlet for me creatively, but also the stuff I knew I wouldn't have a free second to do when the back to school meetings and video trainings started. 😔 Over the years, I learned how to save time on some necessary tasks like the dozens of back to school papers we had to hand out on Meet the Teacher night. Instead of copying and creating stacks of documents, I consolidated as much as I could into these ❌ no-cut ✂️ flipbooks and spent 20 minutes folding a class set while I binge watched one of my favorite shows. 📺 It was a simple, low-energy back to school prep activity (outside of actually inputting the information the first time) that allowed me to feel a little less frazzled in case admin gave us a measly 1/2 day to prep our rooms from start to finish before open house. 💯 👉 If you'd like a "binge-able" classroom activity to help yourself get ready for the new school year, you can find this resource in my TPT store (Fourth Grade Flair). ⏸️ If you'd rather skip the classroom activities until contract time starts, comment your favorite show so I know what to add to my watch list! ♥️
