The Pharrell vocals did sound way too Despicable Me-ish for my liking but that was my only complaint about the project. Also welcome back it’s always nice to hear from you.

If they replaced Pharrell with westside gunn, this would have been 10000/10

I pretty much had the same impressions with it. At first was a little bit disappointed only really loving the ones that have been previewed or dropped b4. But on relistens the beats and lyrics have just jumped out more. Agreed Pharrells singing could be a bit better

My gripe is the fact that every song ends the same. On the last lyric. No outros. No letting the beat ride. If makes listening all the way thru feel like it’s a sampler versus an album. But still very dope.

You’re not the only one who doesn’t like Pharrell’s vocals on this album, he’s not a bad singer at all but The-Dream or somebody else should’ve featured more on this album.

feels like the Pharrell parts are hit or miss depending on the person. maybe he did too many Despicable Me soundtracks

the bars are not in question, push and malice are top tier. but pharrell’s singing, some of the beat selection, that john legend hook on the intro 😅 and even the cover, keep this project at abt a 7/8 for me. can’t see myself going back to this like much as i did with Almost dry or Hell Hath no Fury

Wherever I start in the album, whether it’s at the top or in the middle, I’m letting it play until the end. I can’t stop listening to it.

I back all of this but I actually really liked Pharrells vocals well at least on two songs - So far ahead and By the grace of God, I think that did what it should’ve for the tracks, also it sounds Despicable-ish because he also did that, for ofcourse it would sound like that, it’s made by him🧍😭

Pusha and malice both being 2 years from 50 and still being able to rap on more “modern” beats is crazy

Man listen the album sound sooo much better to me with the right So be it on it. I listened to part 2 expecting a different song got a beat i liked less and verses i heard before and my disappointment carried over to the next song.

I agree. The low points for me were the Pharrell vocals and some of the production but I enjoyed it overall

I love the album through and through and while I wasn’t mad at it I still oddly enough feel like the Nas verse was an afterthought? Like it wasn’t bad but it felt like…idk rushed? Maybe? Not sure I can put the feeling into words accurately enough
