took 3 calming chews and putting him in the bed with me and his sister to get him to stop hyperventilating and go on to sleep. and this is just the start...storm's still over in florida...

Winston doesn’t care about thunder at all. His block head isn’t afraid of noises. Just cardboard, aluminum foil, the recycling bin… Delilah in the other hand…she hates noise. She needs cuddles and reassurance…

I feel this one, I’ve had a few terrified of storms. I’m happy she found a safe space in the closet! I had an old corgi mix, I would have to put a dish towel on his head like a helmet. I never tried to understand why it helped him, whatever works right ❤️
