Our rules with sports were if you sign up you complete the season even if you just sit there but if they hated it they don’t have to do it again after the season is over.

He’s too little for team sports! Just make it fun right now. At this age we just kicked the soccer ball, threw a baseball etc for fun w/ our boys. We didn’t start our first born on a team until first grade. The next ones are ready earlier because of older siblings. ❤️

I’m 32 weeks pregnant with 2 boys playing football which I’m happy they love it but it is overwhelming and daughter is deciding what she wants to do after battling stage 4 cancer in 2023 she has been in remission since November of 2023 and had her left kidney removed

I ran off the soccer field crying when I was Austin’s age bc they used “my” ball for practice. I never went back after that 😂

I started getting Braxton hicks pretty early on with my daughter. She was a big baby and I was so uncomfortable. The morning of my scheduled c section I started spotting, but I made it to 39 weeks 😅 my water broke with my son at 37w 6d, so you could potentially only have 5 weeks left like I did!

Keep at it! At that age so many kids end up just picking flowers. Soccer was my 3 kids first sport and my daughter even kept at it through 8th grade. They all chose different sports to continue on with but soccer was their first love!

find something he likes. I coached my kids but that's because they loved playing ball. just do what they love and it's far better even if they aren't that good at it

Honestly it just takes time for kids to get used to the sport and playing. My son is 4 and finished Tball a month ago and he started really playing 3 weeks in. He will learn to like it.. or hate it haha

My niece LOST HER MARBLES when she was in soccer. She told everyone in sight she hated this and was just there for the snacks. It was a fight every week taking her to games. 🤪

It took my daughter 2 years to actually like playing soccer 😅 the first two years were awful! She would run off the field and we just spent the whole time running after her. Now she actually stays on the field and chases the ball! It gets better!!! I remember one time she just laid on the ground and looked at the clouds 😂😂 like girl Same, I hate outside sports 😂😂

My daughter skipped behind the other kids, close enough she could pretend that she was playing, but far enough behind to never have to kick the ball. She never played team sports, instead she did gymnastics, swim team, and ski team.
