Mistake? MISTAKE?! Dude I spent two hours building a stat block for the cutie and setting up the perfect “random” encounter to make sure you adopted them! That way the can grow into the OTHER stat block I made for last minute rescue during the final BBEG! Now take the cute animal! TAKE THEM!

we bought an elephant from a trading company. first night, he left camp & returned with a family of halflings. used his trunk to steal them from their beds. next night, he disappeared, returned in the morning covered in blood & said to the druid "it is done." no context. we left off on a long rest. he's gone. I know he's gonna show up with something ridiculous
