IMO: You don’t owe anyone exclusivity after one date. You’re still strangers!! Time is precious and undivided attention is earned. Until there’s a title, my options stay open! (*there is SO much nuance here and everyone is entitled to their own philosophy❤️)

Everyone is afraid to miss out on the next best thing so they date multiple people for that reason. When if you just focused on one at a time, you might find something wonderful. But we’re afraid, fomo and it’s a vicious cycle. But yes I agree w you!

I’m personally not ready to cut off any other potential connections after one good date, but I think as long as you and the other person are on the same page whether you want to see other people still or not, anything is okay!

Realistically if you take dating apps out of the equation and you met someone let’s say at the grocery store. The realistic scenario would be that most ppl wound only be talking to that one person just based on realistic opportunity alone. Thats not crazy or a red flag or toxic. Like be so fr you can get to know one person without entertaining the masses.

if you go on a first date with a guy & then AGREE to a first date with another guy - it’s like, the first one clearly didn’t peak your interest enough to turn down another offer. One at a time is the only way.
