There's something satisfying about designing random GUI animation for fictional Sci-fi instruments. I get to be super messy and disorganised, and as long as the final exported animation looks good, it doesn't matter. I'm also a sucker for the analogue sci fi aesthetic of the 70s. In a past career, I spent time designing GUIs for virtual instruments, frequently using Blender to create random animations and interfaces. Like most of what I do, I found that I use the same few tricks again and again. That's especially true with these types of projects.
