@thegracemattei: I forgot to talk about this in part 2 so here’s pink airbnb storytime part 1.5!! Why the house is so torn up!! #airbnbhost #homerenovation #greenscreen #greenscreenvideo
I need a math person here, because a single tub faucet can’t produce that much water in that amount of time. This has to be more than just a tub and a sink, and they had to all have been plugged because faucets can usually drain at about an equal amount to a little less.

People are so weird for hating on you. Like if I had accidentally done that while staying at a Airbnb I’d be horrified at the mistake I had made. I’d be freaking out about the damages I’ve caused. So the fact those girls didn’t care is mind blowing. They were raised terribly

Why was the water turned off when the girls arrived? You haven’t talked about that part.

at first I thought yeah sounds like an accident but these girls didn't even try to help. they felt no remorse. if this happened to me I would be mortified as a guest.

Does insurance cover any damages?

Anyone who knows anything about remediation or insurance knows this is unfortunately a normal process. I hope you have a good insurance policy and make sure you submit those electric bills

As someone from Texas, (we love to flood out here😭) a lot of people do not realize how extensive flood damage is and it will displace you for MONTHS and is extremely expensive

I don’t understand the hate you are getting. The guests were obviously at fault and should never be able to rent another home again. I feel for you!

I feel like the guests didn’t help or apologize to protect themselves from being at fault. Ugh, that’s horrible. I’ve only had one airbnb horror story not nearly as bad

Sorry i dont quite understand, you said that there’s asbestos in ur wall, and need to be removed ? Is it just incidental or is it because your wall are saturated making asbestos got active thats why it need to be removed?

I work as a claim adjuster you can get mold in just a few days if you have the right temps and conditions for it. That’s a large claim. You’ll need a week for dry out and need to pull materials and flood cut prior to that.

Girl - everyone knows that drywall isn’t water resistant. It’s not a “believe it or not” type of factoid.

We had flooding recently and everything you are talking about is exactly what we had to go through. Not fun! I was shocked how much they had to take of our walls and floor but it gets soaked so fast!
