You did the right thing. S few months ago, I was dishing and was at McDonald’s to pick up. A gen Z supposedly manager was yelling at a man who looked like he’d served in Vietnam. This kid was mad because the gentleman wanted to pay with cash and nobody was coming up to help him. I stepped in while this kid loudly said “You can step away, I’m canceling your order. You don’t yell across the place and knock on the counter to get someone’s attention!” A couple of days later, he was fired. I made sure of it.
