Report them to Sanitarna inspekcija (Health/Sanitary inspection), and please quarantine the suitcase with your clothes and shoes in it. Seal it in a big vacuumed bag and leave it for 6-8 weeks exposed to sun. Washing it at 90 degrees celsius doesn’t help. I worked in pest control and these are very difficult to get rid of but super easy to spread.

Are those BED BUGS!? Careful that you don’t take that back home in your luggage. Those are extremely hard to get rid off … as they can get into floor planks, walls .., etc

Report the issue to Booking/Airbnb, and you will receive a refund. Bedbugs can happen anywhere, they are not an indication of poor sanitation. Usually, they are brought in by guests. Bringing the issue up publicly with details makes you a nightmare guest that hosts would like to avoid.

There are several previous reviews that state the infestation, I try to look for key words when I book something so I can avoid as much as possible these situations 😭
