I don’t get how mainline trains can run on tube tracks, as mainline 3rd rail is 750v but tube outer rail is only 415v

I grew up near there, I loved the uniqueness of tube and national rail services using the same tracks and platforms, as far as I’m aware that doesn’t happen anywhere else?

national rail train rund on diesel then? i don't know your uk trains😅 tube stock uses positive and negative live rails with broad contact shoes other than the live rail powered trains i have seen in kent
