I know in the west we tend to erase all good things brought from the east or Islamic world,you can’t skip the fact Indian and Islamic scholars were doing calculus centuries before Newton. They always leave out the East. Madhava’s infinite series in India, Ibn al-Haytham’s early integration, Al-Tusi’s trigonometry breakthroughs — all centuries before Newton. He didn’t invent calculus, he just formalized knowledge that had been developed across the Islamic and Indian worlds long before Europe caught up.
