also, in song What it sounds like she's singing "my voice without the lies, this is what is sounds like" i mean, in the song, she didn't hit any high notes if I'm not wrong, so she can mean that she's ALTO and not singing this high notes again xdd

Hi! Fellow singer here. Not looking for beef, just correcting a few things. Singer is a mezzo-soprano with a huge range. (Alto is a choral section. She's either a Mezzo or a Contraalto) and if notes are outside of her range it means she's either straining (which doesn't sound like, and I highly doubt anyone's gonna let her do that in a proffessional enviroment) or she trained her way up to those specific notes (most likely). Also voices are not exclusively classified to how high or low they can go. There's a couple more things involved into a voice type like tessitura and timbre. Yes each of our voices have limits, like I know I will never reach Baritone territory lol. But what EJAE did wasn't too different from a runner training to run an extra couple miles 😅 Other than that, that's pretty cool observation! About how she's no longer trying to impress and feels comfortable in her own skin again. And Golden is a beautiful song that is very difficult for any singer to nail, so props to her and anyone who can do it 💛

doesn’t it depend on training? in kpop that doesn’t exist and certainly it shouldn’t because that’s a way to divide and settle with your voice when you can train your belting and do whatever you want if that makes sense 😂

I love this video, tsm for posting it. How can I know my range? I've always loved singing, but never been to a singing school or something, there are some notes I just can't reach (mostly from bands like Epica or nightwish, so, I think I'm a bass or something like that, because I can sing those songs better)

I do love that and I like the idea of like- her voice cracking being the thing that starts the spread of her patterns because she's not only ashamed ahe cant hit the note, but shes psyching herself out about it and its a vicious circle of "Oh no I cant do it, it must be the demon in me" and just- making things worse for herself on accident
