the adopting of Ai is another tech bubble. mix in it being a buzz word with history to it and poorly written versions not having repeatable accurate answers, it becomes a detrimental mess. the fact they poorly implemented an Ai to try to present a static data type and it failed that bad is worrying.

My thing is this is something AI could be correctly used for. Generative AI is inherently theft, but using AI for the tedious little things that wouldn’t steal someone’s job is fine in concept. It’s just way too many companies are pushing this tech out when it’s still in its infancy and is getting major details incorrect. If it were any other code or piece of tech that was repeatedly breaking down like this it would have been discarded months ago.

I had my orientation for my new uni course today & had to sign up for at least 3 apps with at least 1 more to sign up & 2 of them gave me "do u want to use AI??" pop ups that keeps bugging me like no go away

I feel like a boomer whenever I'm yelling about how much I'm sick of AI and that I don't fucking want it 🤣😭 An AI update also started to break my partners phone 🥲 bc of course they can't let the AI be optional, they just shove it into your phone in an update and I want to SCREAM
