Steak Salad Sundays Part 15 🥩🥗 Salad: -sliced steak (we used hanger steak) -2 cups chopped romaine -handful of orange bell pepper, diced -handful of cherry tomatoes -little bit of sliced shallot -1/2 avocado, sliced  -large spoonful of black beans (drained and rinsed) -cotija cheese -crispy jalapeños  -spicy ranch  Steak Marinade: -a good amount of olive oil  -juice of one lemon -little bit of soy sauce -little but of red wine vinegar -a bunch of chopped cilantro -a bunch of chopped parsley -a bunch of chopped chives -8 garlic cloves, minced  -seasonings of choice (I used a generous amount of kosher salt, black pepper, cumin, garlic powder, Chile powder, paprika) Throw all ingredients into a bowl over your steak and mix well. Make sure steak is well coated. Let marinate in fridge for at least 2 hours (the longer the better) Steak: -Preheat grill to get it nice and hot (set to high heat, you want it around 450-500 degrees) -Please your steak directly on the grill, close cover, and let cook about 2 minutes. -After 2 minutes, rotate your steak 90 degrees while on same side (if you want grill marks). Close cover and let cook 2 more minutes.  -Flip the steak and repeat above (cooking for another 3-4 min or so total on second side) -Use a meat thermometer to check temperature as you are on the second side. I take off around 125 internal temp (med rare).   -Total cook time will depend on size of steak so adjust accordingly -After you remove from the grill, cover and let rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing.  Spicy Ranch Dressing Recipe: (Serves about 2-3 ish personal salads) -1/2 cup mayo -1/2 cup buttermilk -1/4 cup sour cream -additional buttermilk or milk (this is to add in at the end to get to desired consistency-i usually end up adding about 2-3 tbsp more) -spoonful of fresh dill -spoonful of fresh chives -spoonful of fresh cilantro -spoonful of jalapeños, diced  -2 cloves garlic, minced  -salt and pepper to taste -juice of 1/2 lemon -hot sauce (measure with heart.
